  1. I’ve always thought Avery Brooks was one dilithium crystal short a full chamber. He seems to have a warped sense of the world. As an actor, a transporter and interpreter of character — he seems to hold it together. He treks to the outer reaches of the actors psyche, beaming life into otherwise 2 dimensional space. And so on, and so forth…. yadda yadda. start trek. scobee dobop dee bow.

  2. Ah Avery Brooks, the forgotten captain. He deserves recognition for being pretty badass. You don’t see much DS9 in reruns these days, whats up with that? All I see is ST: Next Generation on BBC America. Meanwhile SyFy is playing shit like Sharknado. #shortbus

But I digress, this is great, sadly I will have to wait for a weekend when my lady is out of town to watch this. Somehow I doubt I will be able to trick her to watch – as it is now, when I pause ever so momentarily on Next Generation on the cable guide, she immediately screams, “NO!”

“…because I had a football jacket on, and rose tinted glasses…”

That’s a classic line right there. It bears repeating.
